Haile Kassim! The position is sound,
We know the fools,
The ones who stand by broken hearts and cracked walls.
Unlike the glass houses of our peers, faithful tycoons,
The laws give them a chance to erect structures, even in swamps,
because their faithfulness brings us ‘growth’
unlike you, the smoked slaves.
With you, Kassim, we have smiles,
the kind that multiplies our accounts,
adding us nine lives.
Forget those who don't appreciate your white lies.
They say you're involved in Zaire's conflict. Only a fool can buy that.
Mentioning that when the Rastas came to politics, suffrage subversion had to fly.
Haile Kassim! The position is sound,
we know the fools,
the mansions, and petrol stations in swamps—raise our profits!
Let no one talk about them; it's nothing but development.
When the time comes, throw out these smoked slaves,
For all we need is space to breathe and a clean environment for our industries.
